Welcome to our new website. Our contribution system is up and running, you can confidently use our donation form to support our project. This is a work in progress, please come back often for updates and new developments.

We are a small group of friends and activists who came together as Salvadorans4Democracy to promote our strong vision for a true and strong democratic government for El Salvador.

Following the 1992 signature of the historic Peace Accords for El Salvador, our country began its long journey of constructing a government whose beliefs and values are based on the principles of democracy. Unfortunately, we have seen a turn backwards and the severe erosion of democratic principles in governing in El Salvador.

So now, we must seek and fight for a fair and just government that demonstrates an unwavering respect for human rights, that practices honesty and transparency in all government actions,  and defends at all times the freedoms of every citizen and institution.  We seek a democratic government that respects our Constitution and the separation of powers for legislative, judicial, and administrative functions.

We do not want a continuation of the current situation; we support the brave individuals and institutions which are ready to stand up for Democracy now!
